Dorje Chang Buddha III

This site is based on our best understanding of the teachings of His Holiness Dorje Chang Buddha III, formerly as know as Master Wan Ko Yee who born in Sichuan, China. H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III moved to the United States in 1999 with His wife and two children in pursuit of religious freedom and the desire to make the true dharma teachings more widely available to a western audience.

At a very young age, Master Yee was guided by H.H. Mahavairocana Dharma King Zunsheng in China. Based on Master Yee’s unprecedented mastery of the dharma, H.H. Mahavairocana Dharma King Zunsheng declared Him the third manifestation of Dorje Chang Buddha, noting He had “the compassion and wisdom of an ancient Buddha.”

On April 3, 2008, the book H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III: A Treasury of True Buddha-Dharma was presented to the Library of Congress, revealing Master Yee’s identity as the true incarnation of the primordial Buddha. This identity was affirmed by numerous Buddhist leaders from all major sects worldwide through recognition certificates, personal attestations, written proclamations, congratulatory letters, and in many other ways.

H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III is also a world-class Yun sculptor, artist, poet, calligrapher, philosopher, painter and medical expert in healing illnesses. Among His honors are a United States Presidential Gold Award, the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Legacy Award for International Service and Leadership presented on January 13, 2011, the proclamation of H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III Day on January 19, 2011 by District of Columbia Mayor Vincent Gray, and the World Peace Prize recognized by the 112th U.S. Congress on December 12, 2012 for a wide scope of humanitarian activities worldwide.
